First thing i did when woke up on the first day of raya was taking cold shower (no heater punya pasal) so...memang sejuk lah!!! Really opened up the sleepy eyes and seriously very refreshing and brrrrrrrr...I got ready for raya prayer and went to the resident's mosque nearby. I was wearing a pink kurung and i didnt take any pictures of me and family on the first day of raya itself..duh!! =( but anyway..just imagine lah ok..after prayer, went to visit my relatives who were staying nearby to each other in Taman Skudai Kanan. After bersalaman and jamah kuih semua, i went back to my cousin's house which i'm staying at.
Actually, i'm looking forward to this year's Raya celebration as i have a nephew to enjoy with. His name is Adam Daniel and he lightens up the whole house with his funny gestures, dance movements, laughter and his extreme-friendliness to every member of the family.
And for the first day of raya, this is what he wore...(now this, i remember pulak to take pictures)

Later in the afternoon, friends of my uncle and cousin came to visit and all the food serving, salam-bersalaman, gelak-ketawa and sebagainya happened. I like people visiting my relatives because this is the moment where i check them out. I like to watch their gelagat of talking, what they wear and such. Plus, i like serving dishes and at the same time got introduced to new people. =D
This photo is my cousin's in laws and i don't know if you recognize that guy in red with mata juling. He is one of the members from the local celeb gang, Senario. Very funny lah..famous sekejap my cousin's house.

That night, we were quite tired and were resting, while Daniel did his acts and ajuk orang. Here he imitated my uncle doing his prayers. He is very good at imitating people. Very cute and his cheeks always get pinched by my geram aunties...

On the night of the 5th raya, our last night at kampung, my aunties decided to make some makan-makan for us. They planned to cook kampung dishes for us!! I was really excited and i followed them to the borong market at near midnight...

That night my aunties together with mama bought sayur, ayam, sotong, daging..memang mcm-mcm lah..and the result??

We had ayam goreng, sotong goreng, kari ikan tongkol, labu masak lemak, pucuk paku goreng, ikan goreng sambal, peria udang goreng dan paling best sekali was the sambal belacan. Wooooyohhh...for the first time, i had second rounds of rice to go with the dishes..terperanjat mama..haaa. I can't believe myself too..hehehe
Best cuti raya this year..5 days. =P Esok kerja dah..haih..

Ps: Next year's raya will be better coz my cousin's wife is already pregnant with the 2nd child and i heard it's a girl!!!! Daniel is going to have a little sister soon...I can't wait!! =)))
