So, I took a half day off last Wednesday to assist Mama, settled some of her documentation procedures at Maybank, The Curve. That was also the time I got my pancakes fix at PHOP. =) Finally! hehe..been craving for it for some time now.

My fave? Of course the Original Pancakes with Strawberries & Cream!

The most important thing when you visit PHOP is to make sure you order that honeycomb butter! That's the s*#%!!! ;P

The Crowd

Last night, I had this tinge of craving for fish & chips. The thing is, I don't really like fish & chips. So, we went over to The Magnificent Fish & Chips Bar in Changkat just to see what's the hype about the food when suddenly there was this St. Patrick's Festival going out, with tables and chairs laid out on the whole stretch of Changkat road. Hoping for a table available at the restaurant, we went through the crowd anyway, where we were flashed with girls clad in sexy, skimpy green dresses, radio DJs wearing all in black, expats-old & young entering from every corner of the streets and of course, the after working people sitting around in groups with their working shirt sleeves rolled up, raising glasses at the same time eyes wandering wild checking girls out around saying "CHEERS!"...hehe, very St. Patrick's la...

But ya, like I expected, the place was packed & so we walked back out through the same route, seeing the same scenes again and therefore, I just couldn't help it but to snap a couple of shots for show. ;P

In the end, we went to our fave, little place in Plaza Damas, Warong Uncle Don. I just found out the name of the place like a few mins ago. It's one of my fave eatery tucked romantically, quietly by the corner of the area. I always call it the 'porridge place @ damas'. hehe...

Chicken Satay

Nasi Lemak bungkus

From left: Saltbeef & Pastrami sandwiches

Yup, Salt beef was recommended by a friend & I couldn't help it but order two types of sandwiches! Both were equally good & cost RM8.00 per plate. Mama ordered soto ayam and satay. I had the nasi lemak right after I consumed the sandwiches and half of the satay. That same night, I guiltily skipped badminton. =S I guess I've put on a few calories that night. Adui...

If you know this place or managed to find it, I would recommend the sandwiches, porridge and satay. Really sedap! The porridge will whet your appetite as soon as you see the condiments laid one by one on your table. That was how I felt when I tried it the first time! Trust me...it's really really good!

During the day...

Alia looking so sweet at her wedding reception. She's married & can i just say again that she's sooo sweet! =)

During the cake ceremony and what was i doing?
Fooling around. hehe..

Friends that came...

Photos belonged to Suhada

Night came...

Then it was Azzahraa's turn.

Her wedding do was so grand (thanks erin!!)! Not to mention her wedding cake & gown! My eyes were sort of checking every part of the reception especially the decor.

The Decor

Everything was perfect TILL during the performance from an invited Indonesian singer, who was singing a love song, there was a big-bang-boom sound came from either one of the speakers/microphone (which im not so sure, but i know everyone gasped at that moment it happened). Everything went sooooo silent momentarily (even the clinking sounds of the forks & spoons on the white plates) but the singer saved the night with a joke in her soothing Indon slang, everyone clapped & everything went back glamorously. PHEW!

Friends i came with, Sofie & Farah & a huge portion of bread & butter pudding that served us well to last a happy memory till the next day... =)
i really love the dessert & happy to manage snapped with a brighter ambiance (the reason being the ambiance lights kept on changing from white, dimmed yellow, pink & blue, you would realize it from other pics taken above).

Look what i found recently...!

An ol' skool japanese camera...with a flash somemore! haha.. I was spring cleaning the house & saw a string-tied-medium-sized-black-pouch & brought out this. I had this big smile on my face before shouting for mama to check it out. She laughed & said it was bought by papa after when they got married.

I was like "OMG, yeker?!! This is soooo ol'skool maaaaaa!!"....and i laughed somemore. Happy to find it actually.

Front & Back

I like the back look of the case, got that handbag look with buttons and all..hehe

Let's check it out closely ehh..

This little-black-manual-ol'-tech is actually rather heavy and imagine me carrying it all over, i think it weights about 1.5kgs kot?! =S

But the best thing about this jap cam is the snap button. Before u click to get a shot, u have to actually twist the little-black-latch below the snap button.

So, in order to use this is also similar to the DSLR cams but only it came with a little twist! ;)

TWIST-LOOK-FOCUS-&-SNAP!

Now, it looked as if it's ready to be used but I wonder if it still............works? =S
