Earth Day Carnival

Justlife is organizing Earth Day Carnival in Ikano Power Centre from the 16th - 26th April 09. Many stalls are open showcasing and also selling earth friendly and organic skincares, cloths, lingeries, food, things and even bicycles!

I went with mama last weekend and it was really cute and nice. Very earthy set up and it was really comforting just being there. Maybe because it is an environment friendly week and thus everything to me was just sooooo soothing and friendly. haha...well, here's some photos i snapped during that friendly day.

If you remember i wrote an article on Silentforce in my previous post, then here there are in Ikano!!

During the carnival, Farhah (my brother's gf) and her family were there promoting Silentforce, the environmetal friendly bicycles and scooters, which only use chargeable batt and electric. No fuel, gas or any medium is used to work these machines.

Malaysia's First Electric Scooters & Bikes to be launched soon!

Pollution-free and Rechargeable Electric Scooters & Bikes.

Sounds interesting kan? hehe..i was amused and interested about the electric products after my brother's gf introduced them to me, especially the bikes! I like cycling. But ever since living & working in PJ, i have no time and plus...me cycling along the busy roads? Lagi lah susah...my parents will never give me the permission to do so. Unless...unless if the bike is easy to be transported to a park or to a cycling track or somewhere safe to cycle, then the probability of me cycling here, would come true!! hahaha...

The reason i was interested with one of the Silentforce bikes is because it's a folding bicycle. haha..i like things that is easy to manage and also can be taken anywhere for usage. The one that i was talking about is this:

It's cute this one and based on the press release that i've received, the electric bike will be driven by an 180w electric motor, with power supplied by lithium batteries and have a range of 40 to 55km on one charge. Wow..imagine the breeze blowing my hair while i ride this bike in the park! I can imagine it already. hahah...

But i like the look on this bike better...

It's not a folding bike but i like the curvy handles on this bike. It looks more victorian like eventhough the whole look and color is totally modernised. haha.. A little bit of a modern, victorian style with the curvy handles and also the back seat. Pretty i would say.

Plus, according to Farhah, the bike doesnt make any noise!!! Waaa, that's really air & noise pollution-free. Cute!! eii..i geram lah pulak. I wish i have one now. I also remember she mentioned once the battery is low, you can just cycle without the power. =)

Based on the press release, four models will be launched into the Malaysian market, the SF0100 and SF0101 electric bicycles and up market SF0300 and SF0400 electric scooters. Here's another interesting part...in the future, there will be development of self chargeable battery using solar panel. Kewl nyerrrr!!!

If i have the bike, definitely a great investment and also a healthy hobby to take up! Build the muscle and maintain great looking legs...haha. I want that definitely. A pair of hot pins! =P
