Earth Day Carnival

Justlife is organizing Earth Day Carnival in Ikano Power Centre from the 16th - 26th April 09. Many stalls are open showcasing and also selling earth friendly and organic skincares, cloths, lingeries, food, things and even bicycles!

I went with mama last weekend and it was really cute and nice. Very earthy set up and it was really comforting just being there. Maybe because it is an environment friendly week and thus everything to me was just sooooo soothing and friendly. haha...well, here's some photos i snapped during that friendly day.

If you remember i wrote an article on Silentforce in my previous post, then here there are in Ikano!!

During the carnival, Farhah (my brother's gf) and her family were there promoting Silentforce, the environmetal friendly bicycles and scooters, which only use chargeable batt and electric. No fuel, gas or any medium is used to work these machines.

Dinner at an indoor garden in OU

Sweetest couple ever!
Fariz, Sal & me

Last Friday, i had dinner with 2 very good people. They are a sweet, good couple who have been dating since school. What i love so much about them is their characteristics, which are so different and yet to me very cool. Fariz...the cool-shy-funny-&-sweet-guy, whereas Sal...the bubbly-cute-chirpy-&-friendly-girl. I really adore and respect them very much!!

So anyway, we went to One Utama and dine in at a new restaurant located on the Lower Ground Floor, The Garden restaurant, which is just beside the Reebok shop in the new wing. The ambience of the restaurant is so pretty and comfortable with flowers all around the dining area. I like the white painted walls, tables and chairs including the white plates. White really sets the appetite for anyone who dines in.

Pesto Vongole Pasta

Us taken with the food

Seafood Marinara Spaghetti, Passionfruit Tea & Garden Sandwich

The food is also tasty-yummy-sedap-umm umm. I would recommend families, friends especially girlfriends who love taking shots to dine here!!! hahaha...*wink wink.

(ps: the passionfruit tea is really nice!!! tak caya tanya Fariz. hahaha)

Night & Day with the Colleagues

I used to think that it's very rare that a person would want to hang out with his/her own office colleagues, as he/she works, eats, talks, gossips, backstabbing, laughs, smokes and bertepuk-tampar, 5-6 days a week, which is like almost everyday! Wouldn't it be boring seeing the same faces, hearing the same voices and laughing at the same jokes over lunch?

No. I really don't think so.

The colleagues that i'm working with now are all females, of all ages, different characters-races-languages, ridiculous, crazy, outrageously funny and sporting!! Even though i see them from wee hours in the morning from 9 ish am till late nites, Monday - Friday, sometimes even Saturday, i am never bored sitting and chatting with them. Furthermore, I'm always looking forward to see some of them at work. The part i like best about hanging out with these ladies is that they are all smiles and cheerful even when things in office are loaded with paperwork/meetings, critisms, unnecessarily stress and politics. What a fun bunch, really.

Enough said, let me introduce them with these snapshots!! =D

Introducing the APV girls that im close with..

From left sitting: Malinder, Abby & Nurvia

The day Janet leaves after 3 months practical with APV

The faces of APV
(to those of you who don't know, APV stands for Asiapromote Ventures, the company that im working at now)

This is practically the whole crew of APV. As you can see, the only male in the group is my CEO, Peter and MD, Wan Zaleha (actually there's another male, who is driver to both bosses, En. Nassir). The rest are the female employees. Girl power!! hahaa...

Weekend flower-recce with some of my crazy & wild colleagues

With Nor & Abby

While walking around, i managed to snap this..ahaha..i miss eating the soft vadei. Memang sedap!! The chick peas (kacang kuda) was also nice as they mixed it with curry leaves. Also cheap! Haiyoo..i love food like this.

Having colleagues like them, i don't mind having to work on the weekends at all! During this time, we had to check out some artificial flowers for one of our upcoming events. I love this part of the job a lot because i get to move around looking for things and also the good opportunity of snapping photos while getting to know my colleagues better. =)
