When we first arrived the Sheraton Towers Hotel, immediatly we went for dinner. Hek..

We went to Singapore on the 19th Nov, taking the evening flight by Air Asia. The conference took place on the 20th & 21st November 2008, which fell on Thursday and Friday last week, immediately after the Showdown of Champions was held (18th Nov). My eyes were tired and my body was requesting me to just "LIE DOWN VIA, LIE DOWN PUH-LEASE" but because i'm going to Singapore, i was trying my very best to perk up! And i did try most of the time to look awake...hehehe
The conference was all about Maximising Sponsorship Returns and many speakers from different organizations came and shared their presentations on how each of their company did in sponsoring, liaising and benefiting from events held. There were representatives from Manulife, Adidas, ESPN, Anlene and others. Asiapromote Ventures represented as the only Event Management during the conference.
5 sessions in a day and each session lasted for about an hour and there would be tea breaks in between to make sure listeners are refreshed. That's when networking sessions happened, during yumcha...hehehe..met up with some poeple and started off mainly by mere introduction of which company we were from, what we actually do and discussing about the session which ended.
That was it about the conference. It's a good practice for me as i'm new and all the learning and traveling will actually help me to improve my level of thinking and meeting new people. I'm glad that i was chosen to go even though it's a last minute preparation. I would want to go again!! To gain more experiences!!! *wink wink...here are the rest of the photos from my short business trip. Feast your eyes bebeh...

Look who came to help us out! Nicholas Andrew John..skinny lah u..hehe
Of all places, we took pic at the MRT.. =P

Christmas decos are placed around the Orchard Road already!
For 3 days & 2 nights, this time i went to Singapore again, not only for business but also managed to see Singapore & recognizing it better. The roads, the signages, people, places, buildings, hotels and the best part was taking the MRT and experiencing the fast automatic escalator and ever fast-paced lifestyle by Singaporeans. If you've been to the Lion State, have you ever noticed they walk fast? haahaha..i did and i don't mind them really bcoz i walk fast too. Try asking a few of my friends who has complained about me walking fast. haha..maybe becoz i have longer legs thus the longer and faster strides. heheh...Alisa, jangan marah ok!..hehe!!
Luv Luv
