24 Hours Jump @ KL Tower

24 HOURS JUMP

It's already 1.21am on my watch while typing this.

In conjunction with the KL Tower International Jump Malaysia 2009 (KLTIJM 09) held recently, another thrilling event is also happening...now. That's why i'm still up at this wee hours in the morning... =)

Started earlier today (27 Oct) at 9.12am, 24 jumpers jumped during that stated time & continuously jump every hour after that untill the 24 hours end, then we'll see if the target mission is achieved & accomplished...which is to set a new record for BASE Jumpers into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) in Malaysia.

We'll get a confirmation on the record, once the event finishes in a few hours time...9.12am today. Once the whole closing ceremony ends around 11ish am later, thus the KLTIJM 09 Tour officially ends today!!!

The long awaited day for me to rest will come soon & i can't wait to just go to bed & get that long hours of sleep without worrying about setting the alarm clock on the hp & waking up early...YES!!! Faster come Friday!!!

I hope to get full recovery from sickness and also my voice back...can't wait to meet up with my girlfriends!! Please get ready for me girls...How i miss you all so so so MUCH!

When a big event is ending soon...

that's when sickness will come crawling and creeps slowly into the body system. That is really just...bad.

First came the sore throat. Then, slowly you'll lose the ability to speak properly, which sounds more like an unclear radio station waiting for a clear signal to be switched on. Next, the irritating wheezing sound coming from the throat, which simply marks the beginning of the asthma attack. Soon, maybe perhaps i hope so not, the hot stuffs...fever and flu.

Isn't it just great...whoooopee...

I'm sure there are many versions of S'Wonderful, sang and performed by many renowned Jazz singers.

I was listening to S'Wonderful by Diana Krall shared by a dear friend of mine for about 5 times.....& i think Stacey Kent's version is better & S'Marvelous! =) Her beautiful voice never fails to soothe me while driving, reading or simply do nothing at home!

Nonetheless, i would say both are equally great singers and have different manners of sharing great performances which make each of these ladies exceptionally different in their own ways.

A sweet dedication just for me!!

Dear friends,

I'm back in KL & i'm actually still in the office while typing this.
First day at work & already i've attended a 6 hours meeting?!! I guess it means that this basejump event will be ending soon.

I've yet to upload any photos from my camera as it's been a hectic and exhausting month for me & my colleagues! So, please bear with me until i've chosen some fun shots taken during the work tour ok. Omg, i really can't wait to show some...really.

Anyway, just when i was about to reach home yesterday after being away for 3weeks, i got a msg from Sahilah. She's one of the creators of SickSingAlong, a music blog where music is all they care about. This is the place where i get my daily dose of good, new music.

So continue on with the story, just a few weeks ago b4 leaving, i msged her telling how much i love a song on her blog by The Perishers. She actually dedicated me that particular song on her blog! Trouble Sleeping..very soothing! I loikeeeeee....

It's the sweetest thing for her to do so & that just make me smile wider. =D

Just for your info, i've traveled to Pahang, Terengganu & Malacca for work tour.

Now...i'm in Alor Setar, Kedah!!

Just arrived today and thus the quick update!!

Sorry, no photos again as photo updates are usually done at home. It's easier that way. =P

Anyway, i'll be here in Kedah promoting Basejump starting today till the 16th Oct and next destination is PENANG!!! Can't wait...

So far, 3 venues down & 3 more to go!!!

A little update on Raya & KLTIJM 09 Tour

RAYA VIA 09

Ok, i know it's abit late for me to tell becoz i've been really busy right for the KLTIJM 09 Tour. I'll tell u about it later. Now, about Raya Via...unfortunately, the photos are at home, so i'll update without them.

This year's raya had lots of friends came over to my mak ngah's house, including mama's childhood friends! She was happy introducing me to them and their children and their cucus...hehe very CUTE!!

The food, we had mcm2 dishes spread on the table; kari ayam, daging rendang, ayam masak cili api, lontong, kuah kacang, ketupat, lempeng, asam pedas. haih...i controlled my food intake as there was too much of goodness in them that made me scared of the outcome of my body later. hehe...Kuih muih lagi?? i kept on munching on chocolate chips, semperit and tart nanas cookies non stop!! =S sedap sangat..haih..

Spending time with my cousins were a plus plus!! We were all updating about life and work and raya this year was quite happening la. hehe...short but fun!

This year would be the 2nd time i'll be traveling with my colleagues. Yeap, im going on a tour for work!!! =D

Pushing off tonite right after the Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign 2009 at KL Tower happening right this very minute! haha...i should be there but since i have to bring along my docs for the tour, thus im here updating! ;P

A little bit about the KLTIJM, it's an extreme sport event which promotes BASE Jump. Just to summarise or simplify what's Base Jump, it's a jump done by professional jumpers from all around the world with parachutes over buildings, antenna, bridges, towers and hills. 9th time to be held this year, the tour will start at Kuantan & move on to Terengganu, Melaka, Alor Setar, Penang & lastly, KL.

So, for your info, i may not be updating much this month. But if i get to online, i'll drop by to say hello!! ;)

In A Moment of Relaxation...

I had a short Raya Celebration again this year. I expected that actually ever since i started working. So, i was totally ok with it. No complains really coz, even though it was short but definitely meriah!! Spending time with my cousins were a PLUS PLUS!

Anyway, im back & office seemed sooo empty. hehe..but i guess i quite like the feeling of quietness in the large, fluorescent room..for awhile. These past 2 days, it has been me who came on time, turned on the lights and to be able to on music louder than usual, hehe it seemed like i was in my own room! But the chance came when i get to actually finish lots of paperwork & schedules for the upcoming event (next week's Oct tour start already!!!!). Phew...at least half have been prepared before other demands come in. =S

I'm also happy the fact that the road is clear! Best giler...but in a moment of relaxation, i just found out today right after work, was the car wash session. haha...so random kan?! It's so relaxing & my head was clear & im contented being in the car, listening to Sparkle Horse tunes & just drift my mind away while the car is being washed, sprayed milky soap on, wiped & vacuumed. I like the moment they sprayed the milky soap on the screen...mcm im in a spa, cooling but by sight! hehe...it only takes about 20 mins but having my alone, quiet time, just blew myself away. hehe...im happy! i make myself happy...how cool is that?!!
