What a Weekend!!

It was a rather busy...err i would not say busy but it was actually more like a packed weekend for me. From last Friday till Sunday, have been out to eat, drink & meet friends, family, relatives and more friends!! haha..the goodness of the weekend and PLUS, extra holiday tomorrow since it was Thaipusam today. Real goodness!!!

Now i'll story u one by one on what i did last week till today. Starting with the day on..

Monday, 2nd Feb 09
Ethan came back! (for awhile)

We girls met up with Ethan & had a good time catching up with him about Australia & more on him & life. It was a short meet but a good one. =)

I met up with my dear friend, Elina and we had our craziness terserlah and menyerlah. hahah..we are 2 crazy chicks la. We can just sit and just stare, talk nonsence and laugh some more. Lisa kalau u ada sure the place lagi havoc!!

Later the same nite, i took Elina to see me jam & meet the boys. =) She was excited as i was. hahaah..

After the reception, the same nite i went over to Lepaq Cafe and met up with Janet & her friends. It was soooo packed and there were no tables and chairs. We girls stood for a few mins when another table was set up for us. =) We had fries, keropok lekor, drinks & good music played! Kewl nite...

It was so packed that some of us stood and some sat outside by the side of the road. hehee...Saturday nite, it's hawt hawt mixed with awesomeness!!!

Sunday, 8th Feb 09
Final CNY gathering @ Mel's place

It's the last house im attending today as CNY ends on the last day, which is Monday. I had much fun this year as i visited lots of friends houses. I've never done this before and best giler! I love house visiting and speaking of that...Mel & her mum were so enthusiastic in having us over their house that they did a whole hearty spread of tea time for us!!! That was really something ok. I was like ooh-ehhh-wow at the table for about 5 mins? hahaha..best giler tengok banyak home made food. YES! HOME MADE TAU! hahah...via excited dunno for wat.

Of course, CNY goes hand-in-hand with gambling sessions..So here were my friends with the cards in their hands. hehehe..

My life around instruments, music & the band

Usually either Friday or Saturday, we would practice and jam at Studio Akarkarya in DU, owned by Sheila Majid and husband, Acis. I luv the lighting and the whole set up of each studio. Being there makes me calm, relax and just happy. It has a warm feeling that sets me into the mood everytime i step into one of the studios.

When i approached the boys for the very first time, face to face, i was terribly shy and can't even speak or sing properly. (Malu je) But i did it. I told myself that this is the one thing that i can and enjoy doing, so i have to get over and get rid of the one-teeny-meeny-problem-of mine..SHYNESS.. hehe. These boys are just so laid back and easy going, so being around them is not a problem for me and Phia. I hope they do too. *wink wink..

Now that we not only jam and practice at Studio Akarkarya, there is this open mic hut called Lepaq, a place where people can perform and just sing! hehehe..So i guess, tak sia-sia lah kalau people jam and they want to perform openly pulak then they can go there in Hartamas. hehehe..practise makes perfect they say. =)

I've never thought i would ever sing with a band or even thought of joining one. But i did and i am enjoying every jam session we have everytime we meet. Seriously...it's overwhelming and i've found the perfect way for me to express myself out loud. Sometimes i just surprise myself. Haha...I AM LOVING THIS A LOT! =D
