My Little Bruneian Friend...

Meeting Alisa's parents officially last weekend was awesome! They were a fun bunch just like their children. haha..hilarious, nice & pretty awesome people. They were here to look for Lisa's wedding stuffs & I was ecstatic when they invited us to stay over at their place during Lisa's wedding ceremonies. I can't wait for the 'berbedak' night & seeing her in all that traditional costumes. My petito is finally getting married...in July! Woohoo!!! Must start booking dates for holidays soon. ;)

A lil update from the Brunei side...

Lisa (in white), came to Malaysia for a short trip, just to attend her aunt's wedding. It was a short trip indeed and we managed to update whatever that was left during the previous trip here and latest news to date.

Along with her cousin, Pu3, 3 of us met up at Pavilion. The place we hung out was Carlos. It was my first visit there and i think i would not recommend friends to go there for a decent chat over drinks. Unless you want to have rounds of shishas and don't mind the loudness, then be my guest.

We had drinks at Carlos and the minute i arrived, immediately i noticed the loudness of the music. It was shown on face like "Why chose to seat here?"....Anyway, since i yg lambat sampai, so tak nak kecoh. heeh..

We had to speak...no actually we had to literally shout to each other's faces and go nearer to each person to hear what the other person had to say. haha...memang kelakar jugaklah. The worst part was while u were talking at that rather loud volume and half way thru, the blasting music stopped abruptly, there u go with the loud voice. haha!! Oh well, loud or not, we managed to amuse each other anyway. =) Asalkan ada kawan, good enuff.

My Bruneian Bestfriend, Lisa

Lisa & i

2 weeks ago, I was thrilled when my crazy bestfriend from Brunei, Lisa, whom i studied and lived with in Perth, came to Malaysia with her sister and cuz just to attend one of our uni friends wedding!! They all stayed at my place and we all had a great time...well, i know i did!! Hearing the laughter, squeals, murmurs and a familiar foreign language at my place, haha...oooh i really miss those moments!

'A Must!' snapshots with my darling friend

The best moment I remembered was the moment when they arrived, waiting for me at the foyer. Immediately at the sight of me walking towards them, my-dearest-cute-petite-Lisa-Samuil, cute and petite as she has always been, jumped up and down while squealing excitedly, ran towards me to give that great-big-hug, which i've been longing for!! The surprising squeal was the best lah eventhough it was already 2am in the freaking morning!! I was already thinking of the neighbours but once in a blue moon, what the heck kan? hahaha...Excitedness should be shown and expressed! =D

After that little commotion in the foyer, i finally invited them in and even after both Lisa's sister and cuz went to zzz, both Lisa and i were still chatting and gossiping!! hahaha...after so many years of not meeting, this was what happened...so many things to say and so little time. The time past so fast and even before we realized, it was already time for Subuh! hahaha...

Bruneians Meet Malaysians
(Saturday, 23rd May 09)

As a host, i took them shopping and a little bit of sight-seeing around town. As they came at the right time and weekend, i even planned a little nite out at Aristo, Zouk, with my dear Malaysian friends, just to show these little Bruneians what KL scene is like. The results??.....

Dressed up + Cool Place + Fashion Shows + Introductions + Boys + Girls + Music + Non-alcoholic-Drinks + Chat Sessions + Photography = Great Decent Nite!

Elina's Wedding @ Bayu Lakehomes, Nilai
(Sunday, 24th May 09)

As it was the Bruneians first Malay wedding in Malaysia, thus it was worth the trip to attend the said wedding and Elina looked so gorgeous in that silver and hints of red in her wedding outfits. Not forgetting the red killer heels!! She's one who adores the color red. =)

Congratulations El!! U were such a babe!!!
Great wedding.

Last Minute Shopping Day & Farewell
(Monday, 25th May 09)

Last day before their departure, one quick stop at One Utama Shopping Centre for last minute shopping, made their trip, 'A Walk to Remember'....which literally also involved many pairs of heels!!

At LCCT, just before take off, we had some bites at Mc D's, also accompanied by Ezani. Talking about Ezani, maybe it was the right timing these girls came as a relationship may just about to start blooming between one of the little petites and ze boy. =D

=D

Pacha!

I hope you girls had enjoyed your trip here in Malaysia. You all are more than welcome to come again and crash at my place. Anytime!!! Also thank you for the great weekend spent with me, mama & friends & also not forgetting the Wajid waaa!!! hehee...
