Checked out NY NY Deli recently for buka puasa at One U & we were quite disappointed with the food we ordered. Baked Mussels, to me it was just ok. Creamy but the taste wasn't there...Now i really miss Perth's chilli mussels..
Mushroom pizza, the minute it was laid on our table, i knew it's not how i thought it will be. The look of the pizza base just disappoints me. It's the type that you can buy off from the cold storage freezer, the keras-bulat-white-pastry ones. Ergh...i guess Pizza Uno @ Centrepoint, DU still serves best hand-toss, hand-made pizzas la!! yum yum...anyway, the chessy mushroomy toppings were just alright. I finished just the toppings mainly. Don't waste right? Haih...
What i enjoyed the most was my drink, Bloody Eyeballs..hehe..it's blueberries + strawberries + lychees.
What i missed actually was the dessert. I think their specialty is the sweetness and not the savoury ones, as their dessert spread on the menu seems endless! From floats, cakes, pancakes, brownies, ice cream to fried mars!!! Damn...talk about adding calories la..but sounds yum yum. hehe...I should have ordered one to try. Next time, maybe for tea? Maybe...
