Cool Weather is Love!!!

My fave view from my office!

After a few days of super hot, dry weather, the rain finally poured today! I realized how much i've missed the rain...the smell of the fresh rain poured onto the ground, the trickling sound of raindrops falling and best of all the cool, emo weather...makes me just want to sit with a book or just chill and close my eyes. I love you rain!

But since i'm in the office right now, i can't help it but take pictures of the views from my seat.

Look what i received from work today.

Love Letter & funky rainbow cloud necklaces!!!

Made from felt materials & totally handmade by take.me, i just adore the cuteness of the designs and the stitches seen on each material and not to mention the colors!! I just love bright and funky stuffs.

Next, i just have to share this with you. I love to take my soya bean with spoon becoz i like taking my time eating desserts. What's so special with this particular soya bean is that it has glutinous balls in it!!

There are 4 types to choose from.

• Glutinous chocolate balls (my fave!!)
• Glutinous lotus balls
• Glutinous coconut balls
• Glutinous red bean balls

Not only that, they have Taufufa too. What's special with The Soya Shops's taufufa is that it has toppings to go with it!! haha...i went today for the third time and mama bought hers with corns. hahaa...so kewl! I bought 2 tupperwares of my soya bean with glutinous chocolate balls.

They even sell fresh and dry edamame beans (the japanese green beans). Very reasonable, very healthy...The Soya Shop, located at Ikano (same level as Uncle Lim's kopitiam, further down nearby the border of Ikea and Ikano, where they have mamak stall, Dunkin Donut stall & Nyonya shop there).

A must try, if you are a fan of soya bean!

Dinner: Friday, 11th July 2008

We had steamboat that night. Lots of seafood brought by papa all the way from Perak were laid on the dinner table. I was SO happy that my bday fell on a Friday, my parents were there to celebrate together with me for the 24th time!, relatives were there to see me being me & to top it off my cousins, marcus, liss & chelle, were there to give me a hooo-haaa welcome and gave me a surprise of freshly new haircuts and a hearty hug! hehee..family family..i love u!!!

Office Surprise?: Monday, 14th July 2008

It was one of my colleague's bday that day. So we all wished her and ta-daaaaa! 5.45pm we were all called upstairs and we had another bday cake spread on the meeting table! This time not only my colleague celebrated hers but mine too! Again. Haaaa....so much cake this year!

A day business trip to Singapore

On the 12th June, Thursday (i know this is a last month's post!) i went to Singapore for a business trip with my directors and colleague. I was so excited knowing that i'll be traveling for work and plus to Singapore! =D

We traveled by Air Asia and arrived before lunch time. As usual i had my headache but after lunch, i was back to my normal smiley self. We went to red dot traffic, a funky red building which has the same color as a red postbox. I got to know from the local taxi driver that red dot traffic was formerly a traffic police headquarters'. True enough, apart from the fresh red painted building, classy glass windows of cafes, clean-nice-white tiled-toilets and lifts, the architecture of office doors and windows still maintain its old-fashioned (ness). I thought it was a convent school or jail! =S

Now it has been refurbished to a design museum, creative services, lifestyle organizations and lotsa cool cafes. I loveeeeeeee....yummeh!

Anyway, we went to red dot to look for a cafe while waiting for the meeting to start. Here are some photos.

We had our meeting at MAS, which lasted for an hour. My fave part was when it's time for sight-seeing!! We took a few rides in some taxi(s) and walked around to some places. I just love people watching and i just wish that i could walk around on the pedestrian walkways like how they did it in Singapore. It's just so kewl!!!

Since it was a day business trip, i was dead tired at the end of the day. Reached home nearly 1am, can't think of anything else but to sleep sleep sleep...
(apart from the great trip, coffee breaks, jap food and people watching, the singaporean taxi driver who drove us from the city to the airport had definitely made our if not MY day for making all of us laugh with his sarcasms, jokes, issues and whatever he was commenting and babbling on both neighboring countries).

Hmm..can't wait for my next business trip! *wink wink
