One of the best kampung style dishes i find very interesting & seriously good would definitely be Restoran Sambal Hijau. Located just beside a local mosque at Kampung Sg. Penchala, this restaurant is famous for its delicious sambal hijau among others.It's so tasty & nice that I can actually eat it with just a plate of white rice. Just that. Nothing else. It's that good! hehe...
You can expect a variety of traditional, home cooked dishes such as ikan/ayam/daging masak cili padi, asam pedas, kicap, sup, sambal belacan, ulam-ulam and more. The highlight of this eatery would be the grilling corner...Ikan Bakar!!!
