How I Met My Husband

Taken 3 years ago on May 18th, 2014

Thanks to FB's reminder on this day 3 years ago when I met my husband, Hazly Izwan. The story on how I met him was actually..............no, I actually didn't meet him personally, or that I knew him through school / college / uni / through friends, but it was through my parent's efforts and suggestion from my aunt and cousins. Yes, basically, macam dulu-dulu, kita diperkenalkan and dipertemukan traditionally, that's how it was.

My parents were worried about me, so they asked for some help from my aunt to see if they have any friends to be introduced to me. My aunt thought of that neighbour's son then. Wait, yes, yes, neighbour's son. Hahaha!!! My husband was staying just 4 houses away from my relatives! Talking about jodoh! Anyway, after mentioning about Abg, my aunt and cousins call him that, it was my cousin Rus who actually brought us together. Right at my cousin's cafe at Fatspoon. Hahahaha...you can imagine those staring and curious eyes of my cousins and aunt then who were all there at the cafe. From there, that's how things got into place. Come September 20th, it will be our 3rd marriage, Insyallah. How time flies?!!!

I am eternally grateful for that and I never really thank all of you dearies enough. Thank you so much for this introduction to Abg, aunty Nur Ilianis, my cousins, Rus Mezani Rozman and Rus Azureen and of course my parents. Family blessing is really important, now that I know. I'm blessed to have family members like all of you who really care. Alhamdullilah, love you all!

UMW Toyota Motor, Subang Jaya

Last Wednesday, I booked through phone to book for an 8.00am service for my car. Knowing that it's a working day, so I went out earlier. Thinking like how it was before that even though I will arrive earlier half an hour before 8.00am and should be getting the first number or so, but still other customers who come in later than me a even few minutes or so, will cut through and wanting to get their number first. But then, that was before. This time, everything has changed! Services got better! Even the setting of sofas has changed facing the number screen neatly.

So, it started like this. Firstly, when you walk in centre, you'll immediately key in your plate numbers, then a number will be processed and once out, you collect it.

There is a running numbers that starts with 1000, 2000 and 3000. each running numbers has its own type of customer setting.
If u made an appointment and come on time, then the running number will start from 1000..1001..1002 so on. If you made an appointment but arrive late, then the running number will start 2000 onward. For walk-ins, starting number is 3000 onward.

My appointment was at 8.00am. I arrived the centre at 7.30am and once I keyed in my plate numbers, around less than 2mins, my number was called out. I have not even taken a seat yet. Then walked across to desk number 10, Mr. Hong and dealt with all the paperwork. Immediately, we checked the car and then 5mins later, done document processes! My car will be ready at 11am. But later on, I received both text message and phone call saying that my car was ready for collection at 10.45am. Fast and efficient!

They have an mobile app now, Toyota Drive to book through without making calls.

Try it to experience the wonders of great customer service!
Thank you and it made my day easier and better. Still awed till today.

Moving Into A New Space

Had our first night in at our new place already! Since it's a new route to work starting today, thus started the drive earlier & best part about it, now I can grab my fave cuppa en route to work! Yippie aye yay!!!

Even though I had a sleepless night with the never ending cleaning, climbing up down the 17 steps (17??!! Really??!!), carrying the many packed things, then unpack them again in repetition, etc....hurmmmmm, still I got the energy to get up at wee hours and head straight to work, arriving half hour earlier, how can you not be happy about it? Hyper happy V la la la.

Yes, that's the great news. We are moving into a new space somewhere in Petaling Jaya now, no longer KL people. New space, new environment, new commitment. Work it bebeh!

Third Month of a New Year

It has been nearly a year since I wrote any entry here. Perhaps, I've been busy with lots of life changing events;- into our 3rd year marriage this year, having a daughter who indeed brightens our lives so much more, juggling personal and working lifestyles, being a wife-mum-sister in law-daughter-gf roles all at once and moving into a new house. Super crazy don't you think???! But nevertheless, the amount of support that we received were endless. Thanks to both our parents, siblings, friends and office mates. Seriously, how can this happen? How can a person juggle life being mentioned?? This is really, I can't but just ridiculous kan? All I can say is Alhamdullilah, Subhanallah, Masyallah...we are just simply blessed. I'm glad we are moving forward to a much better lifestyle, with my husband-daughter-mama all by my side. Loving every moment of it. So looking forward to settle everything and once done, can't wait to fill up more posts again. Writing. I miss writing! Also, my love for photography still lingers in me. I'm happy. Well, ya, arguments, stress, confusions still hovers once awhile but all are worth dealing with. Super happy me.
