Short trip in Lion City...

It's been awhile i've spent time with just my parents alone & so i tagged along with them to Singapore. =)

This would be my 4th visit to Sing & as we stayed right smacked in Orchard Rd, i knew the exact places i wanted to go.

We pushed off right after solat subuh & i slept almost the whole journey. It was a good thing becoz i woke up realizing we've arrived! haa...

As usual, we checked in, rest abit & then i'm off to the streets!!

6th Sept 09

Before taking the shots above, the very first thing i stopped by was Taka Jewelery store. They were having a massive sale...up to 80% off!!! There and then, i bought my very own diamond necklace. It has 2 adorable heart shapes, which can be worn 7 ways! So everyday different shapes! ;)

Returned back to the room to get ready for buka puasa, i was amused to see papa & his childhood friend seated, quietly & concentrating on the chinese chess game! haha...

I didnt know my dad could play this game. He even surprised me by winning the first round...and also the second. hahaha...Uncle told me that he used to beat my dad in every game back when they were younger. Looks like my dad is up for challenge anytime now...haha..

Buka puasa time, parents introduced me to Rendezvous restaurant in Rendezvous Hotel.
This was where they dated back then and been eating this place for years. After some time, this time with me around, the place has changed from kopitiam style to a restaurant. What an accomplishment!!...wadda wadda..

The concept is like Sari Ratu Restaurants here in Malaysia. Like the above shot shown, memang sedap. I like the ayam masak lemak, the sambal fish & sambal eggplants. YUM!!! No wonder my dad was soo looking forward to go to this place. He even gave a thumbs up in the picture. hahaha..

I realised it was Monday and Orchard Rd was quite empty, especially the street captured above. If it's a weekend, it'll be packed!! Serious...




The one thing that i was really into was looking for the Chocolate Research Facility store in Sing. We were walking round and round and i was THAT close in giving up when i finally found the store! I was happy beyond happy lah. Lucky thing that there is a a branch in Orchard Rd right?? If not, i would not be able to share this with u guys...





I knew about this chocolate store when i received emails about them. Their website is super GOOEY! hahaa..Do click on the link above. Very cute with chocolate spreading and trickling down, very cute. Anyway, yes, they sell various types of chocolate series from fruit series, nut series, alcohol series...they even have tea series, coffee series, spices and the latest ones, Horlicks, Cookies & Cream and others...banyak giler flavours!!! That's what i like..plus their packaging is super hawt!!

My part of going there??? This of course!!




The buying factor lah...hahah!!!

After 7 long hours of walking and shopping, we still managed to joke around and smile. =P Gilakan? I was super tired but it was worth it when i found that chocolate shop. haih...so lucky!

Hehe...not only the chocolate pudding but also to meet my old friend, Erwindo. It's been a few years since i last saw him from KDU. He didn't change one bit! hehe...So, my trip was short but nice. Everything is updated!! I've achieved my target of meeting my old friends and i did it. Via Via (hooraay!!)...
