Istana Budaya
Last night, i attended Istana Budaya's Program Launch for year 2009 with my bosses and colleagues. Together with us was LD Sports members, who joint-ventured with Asiapromote to organize a theatre performance by The Merchants of Bollywood, in which it is one of the highlights of the program.
According to The Times, London(2006), The Merchants of Bollywood is the first authentic musical to emerge from Bombay's Film City. It had its premiere in Australia and has been touring around Europe and Britain creating great enthusiasm wherever it went. To read more click on this link.

The Merchants of Bollywood!!!
The dancers are not the original Bollywood dancers as it was just a sneek peek of next year's program. They were the local professional dancers and their performance were not too bad. The dance movements were so full of joy and colours which made my mouth opened like in awe abit (jakun!). The reason because the music was catchy and it seemed like the dance is never going to stop (hip-hop-don't-stop-tip-top-lollipop!...i gila). If you've watched Bollywood movies before, then i'm sure u know what i'm talking about their ever big-bunch-of-dancers with synchronized movements. hehehe...

YEAP! The Merchants of Bollywood is coming to Malaysia next year, 14 - 26 July 2009! Now this is the kind of event that makes me go bum-bum-bum...hehehe (whatever that means). I love theatres and dances and music and colours!
So...the perks of doing this musical event? Not only that i'll be stationed at Istana Budaya during the 2 weeks performance but also i get to meet-eat-chat-laugh with the Bollywood casts & i get to dance for free (when no one is looking)! I soooo can't wait for this one.
