Trip back to Sitiawan, Perak (Part 2)

Continuing from the previous post, here i go with more pictures from Sitiawan...sharing with all of you my most fave place for dinner, Ah Choon Seafood Restaurant.

Obviously, the owner of this restaurant is Ah Choon himself

Simple dishes, my family and i have been eating at this restaurant ever since i was young

Fave dish!!! steamfish....the sauce is the bomb!

The restaurant has been opened since well..ages and the best thing about it is it's halal and the food is nice. Simple dishes make great food. After a few months of not visiting the restaurant, it has been painted to a new color...olive green. Nice...

Next..since fasting month starts early September, we planned an early mini bday celebration for my brother at Secret Recipe in Sitiawan. Photos photos...

=)

some moments for the camera

Sitiawan Secret Recipe owner, Ms. Rita

It was for his 21st bday and they even dedicated a bday song for him..even the owner came and wished him Happy Bday...thanks Ms. Rita! =D

Now the best part i want to share is...On Sunday before pushing off back to PJ, papa took us for a long lunch in Lumut. Best i tell u! It was a spread of sedap malay food, which reminds me of Jaring restaurant in Sunway but unlike the one in Jaring, the ambience in Lumut was better...kampung style all the way! I want to go there again...!!!!

BEST GILA...Nak balik Sitiawan more often lah now. hehehe...
A day trip or two to Sitiawan will definitely destress and relax your mind with less traffic, cheap lodging & food and great photo opportunity. Want me to accompany u around?

*wink wink...

Trip back to Sitiawan, Perak

My trip back to Sitiawan this time is better and memorable as i have a digi cam to capture photos so i can story you about the place i grew up.

I was born in Johor Bahru but for 17 years of me growing up and my schooling days were bred and done in Sitiawan, Perak. Sitiawan is a small district in Perak. Back then, there were not many shoplots built and the roads were mostly small.

After a few visits to and fro Sitiawan, the district has been declared as a city and much has changed with newer buildings, more shoplots, wider roads and such. I noticed that there are now more fast food restaurants around and food courts built. Another drastic change that i am quite proud of, since i am a fan of watching movies is that the old, smelly, rat-running-around, poor maintained cinema has now become a TGV / Cathay Cineleisure like cinema with 4 sets of screens in 4 large rooms! Spacious, comfortable seats, a counter of ticketing booth, proper-attired attendees and popcorns??? in Sitiawan! OMG..i am really a jakun when im back hometown...hahaha..i just cannot believe that a lot has change and i'm glad.

To show you what Sitiawan is like...

It was raining when we first arrived Sitiawan

The Launch of Project XXX

' A peculiar day at Mayfair Street got Muff & Stit inspired to do something. Something that only they understood, something that no one else in the right set of mind would ever pursue because really……..it’s just as good as mass murdering brain cells, but knowing how crazy these 2 are, they’d still run like free-range chickens out on the loose (brain dead or not).

It wasn’t until that crazy lady down at Mayfair Street that urged them to start ProjectMuffStit, a collaboration that celebrates home-made fashion; a project of fashion projects. '

Quoted : Muff + Stit

WhoWhatWear...Fashion TV

It's raining again today and i luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuvvvvv the weather...the cool and gloomy weather makes my happy mood a happy one that once i reached the office i quickly opened the window and pulled the curtain up just so i can hear the swooshing cars passing by, the sound of raindrops and also the sight of the yellow dimmed lights that can be seen from the neighbor's yellow house (Shahir's house) across the road of my office!! So nice...

In some countries, Fall/Winter are the seasons for their cold and end of the year weather, so i was thinking gloomy, rainy seasons mean Fall/Winter falls here too in Malaysia...haha (how i wish it is true). Now i miss the winter back in Perth. I miss Perth...a lot!!!

Anyway, i have some videos to share on fashion accessories and clothes for the Fall collections, Night Out & Street Style from Who What Wear. I like this Fashion TV not only because they show nice clothes and accessories but also the tips and styles they share out to all!

Farah's Engagement (160808)

This dedication is for you Farah!!

Last Saturday was my dear friend's engagement ceremony and it was done very simple but her presence was whoa!! You are one beautiful, funny, sweet, caring, intelligent and active girl..haaa, what more can Sofie ask for..hehehe

Theme of the day was lime green on her side and purple on his side. The bride wore a cream beaded kebaya wedding gown. Blue was the strongest color as it is the house color. Memang Chelsea/Passport photo wall blue habis lah. Very kecoh tapi best. A happy scene. *ROAR!!

Not forgetting her bestest girlfriends: Emmy, Liyana, Alia (maid of honor)
They are definitely a fun bunch even though i only met them a couple of times.

Emmy, Farah, Liyana, Alia

I must say the highlight of the day was the photography session which took most of the time. So many pictures were taken from not only the professional camera man but also her bestfriend, other ex-school mates, part of her family members and myself..hehehe
Clickety-click-click-click-click-click.....

The day was perfectly clear but very hot...it made me tired and looking for a place with a fan was the best thing to make my eyelids opened, joking around and also tengok gelagat Farah yang funny gila. Laughter was heard most of the time too during the photography session took place.

Pictures? Here they are...

Goodluck Farah! Mwah mwah...
