Part 1: Fotographylicious Excursion Around Singapore!

My cousin mentioned this the other day at the cafe, "It was the best food trip we had in Singapore so far!" and I totally second that!

It was definitely a gastronomical and fotographylicious (food + photography + delicious) 4 day trip to Singapore that I'll remember for life (after the one in 2005 where the whole Ooi clan went to Perth during CNY too!).

Our aim was to lay by the pool and chill at the hotel. The hotel we stayed in was comfortable and we got the pool view, which was really awesome but unfortunately very noisy as the kids loved splashing the pool wee hours in the morning, day and evening. Hehe...lucky thing we had other plans to do or should I say splurged on the good, sweet heavens around town!

The minute I got off the cab, I was impressed with whole surrounding of the cafe. Green mix brown. The walkway made the whole walking episode seemed interesting and very serene. ;)

The overall look of the glass wall cafe seemed pretty classy and yet simple, minimal. It was so bright and airy too.

Now I feel...

so super beaten from the walking-serving-ordering (in that order repeatedly for nearly 3 hrs at Fat Spoon cafe without resting), that I couldn't close my eyes properly and my legs are super tired!!!

And I got to wake up early for work...oh bummer!!!

I wish I'm stretching & resting my legs straight up & feeling relaxed like I was back in Singapore by the pool! Missing that lazy moment right now...ohh, and that pool chair!!! haih...

Ok ok ok...forcing zzz mode now.

What A Day @ Fat Spoon !!!

Dinner time tonight was definitely packed & we girls, Chelle & I ROCKED our asses off the whole floor, front, back, inside & out all the way till now! Hehe..I sempat blog lagi kan?? Woohoo!!! Loving it much...hopefully we can do this again!

On the 4th day of CNY...

We got back from Singapore (again). hehe...I'm sure we are all exhausted and resting our heads off from all the traveling & heat. Well, unfortunately for me, work starts tomorrow but the best thing about it is, I'm gonna be sent off for a 3 day how-to-train-people training in town! At least, I'll still be away from office & do something interesting...hopefully. haih...anyway, hope you guys are having a great time during this CNY holiday & wishing you all...

Belated Bday with the girls & a boy

Came the day, where Erin and I decided to do a belated bday do for Farah yesterday early in the morning for breakfast @ Marmalade Cafe, Mont Kiara. It was a mellow and quiet morning for us.

BBQ @ One Utama

I was walking around One Utama when I saw this BBQ place. I thought it was a tiny place but as I walked in, the place was wider with tables and chairs closed to each other. It was packed the day mama & I went to try it.

It's pay-first-then-eat-all-you-can basis and RM5 will be penalised should there be any food wastage. You can even choose a list of soup offered by them. The range of items offered were also not too bad, especially if you are a great meat eater. But I think there are other BBQ places that offer an entended list of items on their shelf than this. Eventhough the place is quite small & slightly congested with the person next to you can actually hear every conversation you're having, nevertheless I had fun grilling and eating with mama at this smoky place. What I enjoyed the most was slurping the blanched spinach while taking a snap out of it! haha...now you can call me...
